Yes, a CCA hopeful can elect to attempt one exam per year. Once they pass that exam, it remains on their file at the American Society of Agronomy that they have successfully completed the test, and once they pass the other CCA exam, they can apply for their designation as a CCA providing they have the appropriate work experience.
